Housefull 4 revolves around reincarnation. The story is set in two different timelines—1419 and 2019—where the characters are reincarnated after 600 years to correct the mistakes of their past lives.
In 2019, three brothers—Harry (Akshay Kumar), Max (Bobby Deol), and Roy (Riteish Deshmukh)—are engaged to the daughters of a wealthy businessman. However, as they prepare for their weddings, Harry begins to have visions of their past lives. In the year 1419, Harry was Bala Dev Singh, a brave but arrogant prince, and the others were royal courtiers and warriors in the kingdom of Sitamgarh. As the story unfolds, Harry realizes that in their previous lives, they were engaged to different women, and their current relationships are all mixed up.
The plot is filled with humor as the characters try to figure out their past lives, and in the process, they encounter hilarious misunderstandings, mistaken identities, and slapstick comedy. The climax takes place in the grand kingdom setting, where the characters must set things right and defeat the villain Gama (Rana Daggubati), who also reincarnates.
